How mentoring/coaching works

When we are happy and fulfilled in our colleges, universities and careers, life feels so much better. We have enough time and energy to do the things we love, the things that make our lives feel rich and full.

But when it’s not going so well, we can feel drained and depleted. Confused about what to do next (if anything). Overwhelmed by the thought of making changes. Frustrated by feeling stuck – yet again.

Mentoring/coaching can help you move forward into a more satisfying way of being.

How mentoring/coaching works:

A mentor is someone who is trained to ask powerful questions and listen deeply. They help you explore your options so you can make powerful choices for yourself – and take action on those choices.

Mentoring creates space for reflection and enables you to see things from a different perspective. It brings clarity to what is important to you now, where you want to go in the future, how you will get there – and why it matters so much.

We all need support from time-to-time: a hand up when we feel stuck; an ear when we need validation or confirmation; an honest sounding board when we need reassurance or clarity
